WELCOME!  Many of you know what a wonderful, faithful and loyal human being our beloved and only son, Henry was. Those of you who do not know him will be a believer after viewing the beautiful visions through this site, as well as the loving messages left.

Henry Vellore Lozano was murdered on December 19, 2001 in Desert Hot Springs, California.   Henry was a beautiful, loyal and devoted son and friend to those around him. We cannot remember ever being angry with him for more than one entire hour in his ever so short 20 years.  He consciously volunteered and joined the U.S. Marines in 2001.  He was committed to upholding the freedom of the United States.  He was also in the process of pursuing a career as a CHP or police officer after his tour in the Marines. Even though he served less than 12 months on active duty with the Marines, he was honored at his burial with a 21-gun salute accompanied by a 65-car entourage and 200 plus people in attendance.  Seniors and young people, that we did not know, came to us telling us of his devotion as a friend always caring to stop and visit.

He was a religious and devoted son to his parents. He was a true, loving and dedicated brother to his sisters. He was a faithful, loving and kind person to all his cousins, family and friends that entered his life. He always had a smile on his face. He was a devoted and loyal partner to his fiancé. He saw her goodness and love but ultimately lost his life honoring those beliefs in her.

Through the deep love for my son, I discovered my super power courage to fight for him and pursue the arrest and possible conviction of his killer.  It has been a long 7 ½ years of just plain never giving up.  The suspect was finally arrested 4 years after Henry’s passing. The arrested alleged killer (while still residing in jail) will “be attending” his double murder trial in September 2009.  Finally, justice has a chance of being served.

Although my battle was hard and long, my undying love and devotion will always be with those that got the ball rolling:  RIV. CTY, DA ROD PACHECO, DA DAVID GREENBURG, PRIOR COUNCILMAN HANK HOHENSTEIN, and SGT. RADAMES GIL.

It is an unbelievable transformation that takes place when your life is suddenly and forever reformatted to the stance of a CRIME VICTIM SURVIVOR.  But now, I fight a fight that crimes will not go unaccounted for, glorified or hand slapped.

FOR THE HONOR OF MY SON AND FOR ALL OUR BELOVED LOST ONES, LET US JOIN TOGETHER TO HELP EACH VICTIM TO LEARN:

    • NOT TO BE AFRAID
    • TO HELP MAKE LAWFUL CHANGES
    • TO HELP EACH OTHER HELP OTHERS
